Concrete planning guide

A useful concrete project record for a property manager

A property manager may need to explain the work to an owner, tenant or future manager. The record should connect the approved scope with the affected area and access plan.

What to record

  • Use a marked plan, dated condition photographs and the approved work boundary.
  • Record temporary closures and the return-to-use instructions.
  • Keep private customer details and financial records in the appropriate private system.

The decision to discuss

Document the result with the same viewpoints as the starting condition where possible. Label any later observation by its actual date. A completed work record should not turn an illustrative photograph into customer evidence.

Why the surrounding context matters

Concrete can change with moisture, temperature, load and support conditions. A visible crack therefore needs context before a repair method is selected. Use the observations below to explain the question; leave the project-specific diagnosis to the appropriate review.
