Concrete planning guide

Keep a concrete repair record after completion

A useful handover records what was repaired, how the area should be used and what to watch. It also preserves the boundary of the work for a later conversation.

What to record

  • Save the approved scope, dated completion photographs, product care information and any written restrictions.
  • Photograph the whole area and transitions before placing furniture or equipment back.
  • Keep private contact and financial details out of public copies.

The decision to discuss

Ask which changes should prompt contact and what maintenance is expected. The existing workmanship warranty does not make every future crack or site condition a workmanship defect. Review the actual written project terms.

Why the surrounding context matters

New concrete needs appropriate moisture and temperature conditions while it develops its intended properties. Repair products also have their own protection requirements. The actual installed system and use should determine the care and reopening discussion rather than a generic calendar rule.
