Concrete planning guide

Keep vehicle-related surface marks separate from concrete loss

A garage floor can show tire marks, stains and actual loss of material at the same time. Describing them separately helps the review focus on the right concern.

What to record

  • Photograph each issue in even light and include the normal wheel path.
  • Share known spills or earlier treatments without guessing their chemical composition.
  • Avoid aggressive grinding or unfamiliar cleaners before the condition is reviewed.

The decision to discuss

Ask whether cleaning, treatment removal or concrete repair is needed. A stain is not a measurement of slab strength, and a coating will not establish the cause of a damaged edge. The scope should identify the physical condition being addressed.

Why the surrounding context matters

The finish discussion should follow the intended use and the condition of the material it covers. Appearance, transitions and care are useful owner decisions. A sample or photograph cannot establish hidden support, bond or long-term performance on its own.
